Hi everyone. This is my semi-anonymous blog where I’ll write about my experience of applying to business school. My wife doesn’t like it when I write about the application process on my main blog because she’s afraid one of the schools I’m applying to will find it and be offended by something I’ve written in the past.
Here’s a quick profile of who I am:
Asian American male
Late 20’s
Software engineer
Graduated from a top 50 university
One of the purposes of this blog is to provide a perspective on the bschool application process from someone who isn’t applying to Harvard, Stanford, Wharton, etc. and who doesn’t have a glamorous academic/work history (in other words, didn’t attend an Ivy League school for undergrad, didn’t get a 750+ on the GMAT, didn’t start their own tech company at the age of 22, etc…). Sometimes it seems as though only those sort of people get into a top business school but I’m sure that’s not true. Or if it is, I guess I’ll discover that the hard way.
Here we go and good luck to everyone in the midst of the application process for Fall 2007!
